This is a very yummy, but simple treat, and is received with much delight!! You require the following to make marshmallow sandwiches: Skewers, marshmallows, and digestive biscuits (plus a fire!). You can also add Nutella into your sandwiches, but this is optional.
Method To Make Marshmallow Sandwiches:
- Toast the marshmallow on the end of the skewer until nicely bubbling and browning.
- Then place it (still holding the stick), on top of the first biscuit.
- Place the second biscuit on top.
- Apply gentle pressure onto the top biscuit whilst pulling your skewer out. You will be left with a lovely, gooey treat. It will make all the undergrowth stick to your fingers, but it is worth it!!
- If you want to add the optional chocolate spread into your sandwich, spread it onto one side a biscuit before adding the marshmallow.

A lovely way to make the most of a campfire and have a tasty treat. Learning how to make a good camp fire is such fun, it is something we sometimes include as one of our activities with the children here at the end of the week and always popular.
Thank you for sharing your tasty sandwiches on #CountryKids

We are all addicted to our fires, and it’s a way of bribing them round a hike ;-)!! Thankyou for having us over on #CountryKids
It’s like a British snores without the chocolate – love that you use digestives we should try that instead of graham crackers – might get the Americans hooked.

Hee hee, yes they are, but my trio have named them 🙂
That should be s’mores!
Oh my goodness this has just taken me back to girl guides! We use to do this and I had forgotten all about it. Thanks so much for reminding me! #countrykids

We go through loads of them!!
Oo these look so delicious! I used to make something similar, but use milk chocolate digestives and put the warm marshmallows on the chocolate side 🙂

Ooooo nice and it saves spreading the Nutella too…although can you ever have too much chocolate in it??!!!
What a lovely way to encourage the kids to get outdoors for some fun. Those treats look really tasty! 🙂

Great morale booster when it is cold here in the Swedish winters!
When I was young, this was my favourite treat when we were out camping with my older cousins

They are so crummy aren’t they…I can’t believe I didn’t discover them until I was in my 40’s!!
Yum!! These look amazing! They remind me of smores I had once on a holiday to Texas, they were made with crackers not biscuits though and had chocolate in them so were very messy xx
